Essential responsibilities
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
- Performs minor procedures in office in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations. Such as joint injections, toe nail removal, nexplanon placement, I&D and cryotherapy.
- Monitors the effectiveness of interventions and schedules patients for proper follow up.
- Maintains proper documentation.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
- Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.
Minimum qualifications
- Prefer 3 years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner; will consider new grad with strong medical background
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure, Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and DEA license
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
