DT-Trak Consulting Inc. is seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to support the Indian Health Service at Pinon Health Center in northern Arizona. This position supports outpatient primary care and walk-in acute care services within the Chinle Service Unit on the Navajo Nation.
This is a long-term federal contract opportunity serving Native American communities in a rural healthcare setting.
Compensation and Benefits
- $90 per hour taxable wage
- $1,000 travel allowance ($500 first check and $500 last check)
- $1,246 weekly per diem stipend
- Estimated weekly gross pay of $4,846 based on 40 hours
- Overtime available at same hourly rate

Position Details
- Location: Pinon, Arizona
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13-week assignments and long-term contracts available
- Setting: Outpatient primary care and walk-in acute care
- Population: Pediatric through geriatric
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care services
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Manage walk-in urgent care patients
- Document care within the Electronic Health Record system
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
- Participate in multidisciplinary care teams
- Support preventive health and chronic disease management
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical NP experience
- Active unrestricted NP or APRN license
- DEA license with Schedule II through V authority
- Current BLS certification
- PALS certification preferred
- Strong outpatient and urgent care experience preferred
- Experience with rural or underserved populations preferred
- IHS, VA, RPMS, or EHR experience preferred
