Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote optimal patient health. Your expertise will support a diverse patient population across various settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and specialized care environments. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital sign measurements, and medical history reviews.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a broad spectrum of medical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical judgment.
  • Administer injections, perform suturing, and manage procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, and dermal fillers with precision and sterile technique.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate care with specialists in areas such as gastroenterology, infectious disease, geriatrics, behavioral health, and pain management to ensure comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to empower individuals in their health journeys.
  • Participate in telehealth consultations and triage services to extend access to quality care beyond traditional settings.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from the appropriate licensing board.
  • Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care, and injection administration.
  • Critical care experience or hospital medicine background is highly desirable; experience working in emergency rooms or Level I/II trauma centers is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and utilization review processes to ensure accurate documentation and billing compliance.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, assisted living residents, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards.

Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
