Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

PAY: $55 – $65 per hour (dependent on experience, professionalism, speed, and patient volume) Bonuses also paid on volume

JOB TYPE: Full-Time / Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our urgent care/primary care team. Must be self-motivated and accountable, with a desire to be part of work family. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, and EKGs
• Prescribe medications and treatments per state regulations and clinical protocols
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, and joint injections
• Coordinate transfers for high-acuity patients when appropriate
• Accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Provide thorough patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with physicians, health coaches, medical assistants, and administrative staff

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED:

• MSN or DNP from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of practice
• National board certification (FNP or AGACNP)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of NP experience (urgent care or emergency medicine preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED:

• 2+ years of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience
• Training or experience in Longevity Medicine or Functional Medicine (a plus)--desire to learn Longevity and Functional Medicine also a plus
• Strong record of professionalism, thoroughness, and patient satisfaction
• Proficiency with EHR systems ( eClinicalWorks, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

COMPENSATION DETAILS: Pay ranges from $55 to $65 per hour and is determined by:

• Experience – years of NP practice and relevant clinical background
• Professionalism – conduct, reliability, and patient/team interactions
• Speed & Volume – efficient, high-quality patient throughput
• Specialized Background – Longevity or Functional Medicine experience may qualify for higher placement within the range

Pay: $110,110.55 - $132,606.25 per year
