Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services across diverse clinical settings.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in primary care, acute and chronic disease management, and specialized fields such as geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and a commitment to improving health outcomes. The successful applicant will be instrumental in managing patient assessments, treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery.
Outpatient setting only , No Hospital work & No calls
Hours of operation Monday-Friday 8-5 & Sat. 8-12 ( alternate with other providers).
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as DrChrono.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, incorporating evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
- Coordinate diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, sonography, laboratory testing, and specimen collection/processing to inform clinical decisions.
- Provide telehealth consultations to extend access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with specialists in gastroenterology, infectious disease care, esthetic laser treatments, hospice & palliative medicine, and other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate billing and documentation purposes.
Requirements
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification or Physician license with current Texas state licensure.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including DrChrono ,Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics like nutrition or medication administration.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
