Position Summary

Valley Day & Night Clinic is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and experienced Family Practice Physician (M.D. or D.O.) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least four (4) years of clinical experience practicing medicine in the United States and demonstrate strong leadership potential. This role involves providing comprehensive, high-quality primary care to a diverse patient population across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Provide full-spectrum primary care services including preventive care, acute and chronic illness management, and wellness counseling.
  • Perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, interpret lab results, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the EMR system.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary healthcare providers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Minimum of 4 years post-residency experience practicing as a physician in the U.S.
  • Current DEA registration.

Certifications & Onboarding Requirements

The following certifications must be obtained as part of onboarding:

  • Civil Surgeon Designation: Must apply for and complete USCIS Civil Surgeon training within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification: Must obtain MRO certification to manage and review drug testing results within the first 3 months of employment.
  • U.S. DOT Certification: Must complete certification by the U.S. Department of Transportation to perform DOT physical exams within the first 2 months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a clinical setting.
  • Experience in value-based care models or integrated care delivery systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $169,000.00 - $292,000.00 per year
