  • Prescribe medications for treatment of medical conditions when indicated and provide appropriate follow-up with nursing staff assistance.
  • Provide clinical consultation to physicians and mid-level providers as needed.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, easily understood documentation in the client’s electronic medical record.
  • Participate in an on-call system to provide client access to care (or maintain communication with other providers if part time and not taking call).
  • Attend mandatory safety-related and infection control in-services.
  • Assist with development of medical/clinical policies and protocols as needed.
  • Maintain sensitivity to cultural diversity of population served and age-related competence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • License to practice medicine in the State of New Hampshire.

  • Maintain Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification preferred — candidates without current certification will be required to complete an Amoskeag Health–provided AHA BLS class upon hire (must be maintained)

What We Offer:

  • Compensation for this role is $124.04-$138.46/hour.
  • Benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 403B with Company Match, PTO, Life Insurance, Continuing Education Opportunities and more!
  • Student Loan Forgiveness through HRSA (eligibility requirements including minimum of half-time hours)
