Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking a family medicine physician with rural medicine experience to support an open position. This locum role includes both inpatient and emergency medicine coverage.
This is an ideal opportunity for a physician looking to practice in a rewarding clinical environment. It is just the right amount of part-time work to keep you clinically active or supplement another part-time position.

Location: Northwest Montana
Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: Start when possible, cover one week per month.
Compensation: Hourly Rate

Key Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (days). One week/ month
• Compensation Details: $180.00 hourly rate

Responsibilities:

• Patient Volume, Inpatient: Averages 7-10
• Patient Volume, ER: Averages 8
• On-Call Details: Provides support via phone call to PAs on the night shift

Position Requirements:

• Active Montana State Physician (MD) license
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2-years of solo full-spectrum CAH emergency experience
• Inpatient experience
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be willing to provide support via phone call to PAs on the night shift
• Direct experience with medevac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
