Family Respite Care Provider

Do you have a caring heart and a passion for helping others? We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as a Respite Care Provider!

As a Respite Provider, you’ll support families of children with developmental disabilities or emotional needs by giving guardians a well-deserved break. You’ll spend one-on-one time with a child or teen, providing care and companionship during fun, enriching outings or relaxed home visits.

Please Note:
Respite assignments are typically between 2- hours per week and short-term. Each consumer is typically authorized for services in 3–6 month periods. After that, they could be renewed or providers may be matched with a new family based on availability and needs.

• Engage in fun, safe activities like park visits, library trips, crafts, or games
• Offer short-term care either in the family's home or in the community
• Ensure each shift is documented and within authorized hours
• Make a real impact while working flexible hours that fit your life

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to provide a valid driver's license & proof of insurance at hire
• Comfortable transporting child in your personal vehicle
• Must be reliable, responsible, and enjoy working with children or teens
• Able to maintain professional boundaries and work independently
