Casakids is seeking a compassionate, organized, and trauma-informed Part-Time Family Services Practitioner to join our Family Resource Center team. This position plays an important role in supporting children and families by providing case management, advocacy, parenting education, resource coordination, visitation support, and crisis response services.

Position Summary
- The Part-Time Family Services Practitioner provides direct support services to children and families served through the Family Resource Center. This position helps ensure families receive coordinated, high-quality, trauma-informed services that promote safety, stability, and well-being.
- The practitioner works directly with clients, community partners, and internal team members to assess needs, provide referrals, support visitation and family engagement, maintain documentation, and help families access resources and services.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed case management and family support services
- Conduct intakes, screenings, assessments, and ongoing follow-up with clients
- Develop service plans and help families access appropriate community resources
- Support and monitor family visitation services as needed
- Provide parenting support, education, and guidance
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential case documentation
- Complete reports, progress notes, case staffing documentation, and related records
- Coordinate with community providers and partner agencies to support client needs
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and required trainings
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with families, team members, and community partners
- Travel locally and throughout New Mexico as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Family Resource Center program
Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
Education
One of the following is required:
Bachelor’s degreOne of the following is required:e in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Family Services, or another related field approved by CYFD
OR
A combination of related education and direct experience totaling four (4) years
Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
