Ready to make a real difference in the lives of families?

Do you have a passion for supporting parents and children during their most important moments? If you’re someone who loves helping families grow stronger, this is your chance to be a part of something truly rewarding!

We’re looking for two Part-Time Family Support/Visitation Specialists specifically for after-school hours and weekends in the Kearney area to join our team! You’ll be the friendly, guiding hand families need to help them through their visitation journeys while providing support and coaching every step of the way. Plus, you’ll get to see firsthand the positive changes you’re helping create in your community!

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Ensure kids are safe and happy during visitations—you're the go-to person to make sure everything runs smoothly!

· Supervise interactions between parents, children, and siblings with a watchful eye (and a big heart!).

· Get to know each family’s unique needs and offer guidance to help them thrive.

· Build strong relationships with families, offering support and encouragement to boost their confidence.

· Step in with parenting tips and tricks as needed, all according to the visitation plan.

· Provide family support by identifying and addressing the goals of the family unit as they work toward reunification.

· Participate in regular check-ins with your supervisor to share your observations and insights.

· Document everything in a timely manner to keep accurate records of the visit.

· Keep family info confidential—trust is key!

· Stay up-to-date with child welfare trends, laws, and policies by attending training sessions (and enjoy learning along the way!).

· Collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to making a positive impact.

· Build and maintain relationships with local agencies and other community partners.

· Step in for additional duties or requests as needed—because no two days are the same!

What You Get to Enjoy:

· A fulfilling, full-time role that’s all about supporting families.

· A chance to make a real impact in your community.

· A supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, growth, and having fun!

· Competitive wages, mileage reimbursement, PTO, Retirement Plan, Paid holidays and more

Job Type:

· Part-Time

We are an equal opportunity employer that follows EEOC guidelines. We encourage all passionate and qualified individuals to apply. If you're excited about working with families and supporting them on their journey, we can’t wait to hear from you!

· A Bachelor’s Degree in child development, psychology, sociology, social work, education, or a related field (and/or equivalent combination of work/life experience in the field).

· A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of 100/300 insurance.

· Ability to pass a background check and drug test (safety first!).

· A computer and phone for staying in touch with clients and documenting your work.

This position serves Kearney and the surrounding areas, and it’s ready for you to step in and make an impact!
