Family Time Service Worker-Social Work (Afterschool and Weekends Required)

Family Time Visitation Supervisor at Angela's Family Services, you play a crucial role in facilitating family reunification for those navigating the foster care system. Your duties involve maintaining vital connections among parents, children, and siblings, ensuring that families stay united during challenging times. Collaborating closely with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), you help establish a positive and supportive environment for family visitations, free from bias or stereotypes.

We understand the significance of maintaining a safe and nurturing atmosphere during these interactions, and your role is pivotal in achieving this objective.

At Angela's Family Services, we operate as a sub-contracting agency, providing you with the flexibility to manage your own schedule and select cases that align with your comfort level. It's important to note that our work mostly takes place after school hours and on weekends, with limited daytime availability. This setup empowers you to make decisions that fit your personal life, fostering a healthier work-life balance. While the sub-contracting model offers numerous benefits, it necessitates individuals to be self-motivated, organized, and effective communicators. Though there may be initial costs and ongoing expenses, many find the tax advantages to be favorable, making it a worthwhile opportunity.

Our team at Angela's Family Services is collaborative and supportive, committed to offering excellent assistance to the families we serve. In this role, you'll have the chance to learn and grow alongside a diverse group of colleagues. Exposure to different viewpoints allows you to explore various strategies and determine what works best for you. Even without prior experience, you'll gain valuable insights into being a sub-contractor, embracing traits like independence, flexibility, accountability, and reliability for success.

Join us at Angela's Family Services and contribute significantly to the safe reunification of families. We deeply value the importance of our work—protecting children and providing support to families in challenging times.
