We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to deliver a mix of activities for families (including playgroups) to foster healthy child development and positive parent/child relationships in the Bourke and Brewarrina communities.

This position is fulltime, based at our Bourke office and offers a maximum term contract until 26June 2026. If further funding is made available, an additional contract may be offered to the incumbent.

Skills & Experience
  • Facilitate playgroups and educational programs for parents and children.
  • Communicate sensitively with clients in a confidential and culturally appropriate way.
  • Understanding of local services in Bourke and Brewarrina, that offer support to children and families.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Travel to Brewarrina twice a week to facilitate playgroups and educational programs and provide support for parents and children.
