Farm and Groundskeeper

We’re looking for someone experienced, reliable, and self-motivated to help care for the grounds, livestock, and hay production of a starting farm. This is a physically active role that includes daily upkeep, animal care support, grounds and landscaping tasks, and hay production. A passion for nature, livestock, and outdoor work is essential, as well as a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily animal and livestock feeding
• Maintain animal feed and supply inventory
  
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and farm or construction-related equipment (heavy equipment experience a plus, but not required)
• Manage property trash needs – including bin days, dump runs, and general cleanup
• Keeping barns, outbuildings, and exterior areas neat and functional
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds and property to identify areas needing attention or repair. (Gates, Fences, Trails, etc.)

Required Traits & Skills:

• Identify and resolve maintenance issues independently or with a small team
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good order
• Experience using and operating hand tools, power tools, and farm or construction-related equipment (heavy equipment experience a plus, but not required). Equipment includes (Tractor, Skid Steer, UTV, Zero-Turn Mower, Excavator)
• Support occasional seasonal property needs, including land clearing, fencing, and trenching
  
• Ability to work outdoors and physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds regularly
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality groundskeeping results.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks throughout the day.
• Fluent in English with clear communication
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Lewisburg, TN 37091 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Lewisburg, TN 37091: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
