Job Overview:

As a CDL Driver with Raitz Family Farms, you will play a key role in delivering feed and commodities safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has 2 years of CDL experience (preferred but not required) and enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Safety, reliability, and professionalism are essential in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including automatic and standard trucks.
• Perform route driving for efficient delivery of feed, commodities, and other materials.
• Conduct digital pre- and post-trip inspections via company-provided cell phone.
• Arrive on time every shift (on time means early!).
• Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and local regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and site supervisors regarding delivery status.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance department.
• Maintain a clean and safe truck inside and out.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures while adapting to unexpected situations.
• Bring a positive attitude and have fun while on the job!

Requirements:

• Valid Texas CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years CDL experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam to confirm fitness for driving.
• Strong knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
• Courteous and professional on the road and at delivery locations.
