Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated Farm Production Team Member to join our team right here in Akron, Ohio. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in every step of our gourmet produce from seed all the way through harvest and packaging.

You'll work closely with our growers and production leads to keep our crops healthy, our facility clean, and our operations running smoothly in a fast-paced indoor farming environment. If you enjoy physical work, take pride in doing things right, and want to be part of building the future of indoor farming, this could be a great fit. No previous agriculture experience is needed. We'll train you.

Key Responsibilities

• Sow seeds precisely into grow media and manage propagation trays to give every crop a strong start.
• Transplant germinated seedlings and plant plugs into the grow systems.
• Harvest and package our premium microgreens and specialty crops while keeping quality and shelf life consistent.
• Clean and sanitize grow systems, trays, equipment, and work areas following our food safety protocols.
• Move plant trays, supplies, and equipment safely and efficiently around the facility.
• Help receive, unload, organize, and store incoming materials and supplies.
• Pitch in with any other daily production tasks needed to keep things running smoothly and compliant.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing, agriculture, or any fast-paced manual labor role (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stay on your feet, bending and reaching during an 8-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with seed spacing, tray management, and harvest quality.
• Reliability and a solid work ethic. We run year-round and need people who show up ready to work.
• A real commitment to cleanliness and food safety since we're growing food people eat.
• Good communication skills, willingness to learn, and a team-first attitude.
• Comfort working in warm, humid indoor growing environments.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and do repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Able to reach above shoulders and bend below the waist frequently.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
• Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles
