About the Position:

MOARK Agricultural Research, LLC, is an independent contract research organization that conducts row-crop efficacy field trials, pesticide registration trials, and biotechnology-derived crop trials according to the needs of each client. Crops grown include corn, cotton, soybeans, rice, wheat, and vegetables. The Farm Hand will be responsible for performing all farm- and research- related tasks as assigned by the Research Manager and/or Farm Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all farming operations such as operating farm equipment, planting, irrigation, harvest, and shipments.
• Ensure efficient use and proper care of all equipment.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Handle lawn care tasks, including weed eating, spraying, and mowing.
• Assist with the conduct of research trials, especially as it concerns the field component.
• Other duties assigned by the Research Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Availability to have a flexible work schedule.
• Reliable means of transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
