Pay: $20–$23 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking a dependable Farmhand to assist with daily farm operations including equipment operation, crop production, maintenance, and livestock care. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and operating machinery.

Duties

• Operate farm machinery including tractors, forklifts, and irrigation equipment
• Perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and basic welding
• Assist with planting, spraying, irrigation, and harvesting crops
• Maintain farm buildings, and infrastructure
• Handling and hauling grain (CDL Not required)
• Perform general farm tasks including lifting supplies and maintaining a clean work area
• Assist with livestock care including feeding, watering, processing, and health checks for hogs and poultry

Compensation & Benefits

• $20–$23 per hour depending on experience
• Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week (time and a half pay)
• Paid every two weeks (26 pay periods per year)
• 40 hours PTO annually (applies to the state sick leave program but flexible use)
• $200 monthly health insurance allowance
• Farm-raised meat provided (10 chickens and 1/2 Hog after 6 months)
• Flexible scheduling during slower seasons when possible

Requirements

• Agricultural experience preferred but not required
• Mechanical knowledge or repair experience highly valued
• Ability to safely operate tractors and equipment
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license required
• Willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
