We are excited to invite applications for the paid internship position in Fashion & Accessories Design. Interns will collaborate closely with experienced design teams, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of product development, from conceptualization to presentation. Responsibilities

Assist in researching current fashion trends, color palettes, and material innovations to inspire new designs. Support the creation of sketches and illustrations using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other graphic design tools. Contribute to the development of technical drawings and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files for prototypes and production. Participate in the entire product lifecycle management process, including concept development, sample creation, and final adjustments. Help prepare mood boards, presentation boards, and lookbooks that communicate design concepts effectively. Assist in garment construction tasks such as pattern making, sewing, and fabric manipulation under supervision. Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure designs align with market trends and retail strategies. Gain exposure to fashion styling techniques and visual merchandising principles to enhance presentation skills. Support team members during fittings, styling sessions, and runway shows or photo shoots when applicable. Maintain organized records of design files, fabric samples, and technical specifications for efficient workflow.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program or related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications—particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator—is essential. Basic knowledge of CAD software used in fashion design is preferred. Understanding of garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes within the fashion industry. Strong sense of color theory, textile properties, and fabric selection principles. Experience with illustration, sketching, and graphic design relevant to fashion concepts. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and professionally. A passionate interest in fashion retail trends, styling, and merchandising practices. Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
