About the Role

CADCENTER IEE is seeking a creative, skilled, and passionate Fashion CAD & Design Trainer to train students and aspiring fashion professionals in industry-standard fashion design tools, digital illustration, pattern making, and apparel design workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Fashion CAD software and practical experience in fashion design, sketching, garment construction, and digital pattern development, along with a genuine passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training sessions in:
• Fashion Design Fundamentals
• Digital Illustration & Fashion Sketching
• Fashion CAD tools (Illustrator, CorelDRAW, CLO 3D, Optitex, etc.)
• Pattern Making & Digital Pattern Drafting
• Garment Construction Basics
• Textile Basics & Fashion Portfolio Development
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, practical tasks, and student projects.
• Guide students in creating fashion portfolios, CAD illustrations, and digital garment simulations.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Support academic activities, workshops, fashion events, and internal exhibitions.
• Stay updated with new trends in the fashion industry, digital tools, and modern apparel technologies.
• Maintain high-quality teaching standards in line with CADCENTER academic guidelines.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Fashion CAD tools (minimum one required):
• Adobe Illustrator
• Photoshop
• CorelDRAW
• CLO 3D or any other fashion CAD software
• Solid knowledge in:
• Fashion illustration & sketching
• Pattern making & garment construction
• Textile fundamentals
• Color theory, fashion trends & styling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to teach and engage students in a creative, structured manner.

Qualifications

• Degree / PG / Masters in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or related field
• Additional certifications in Fashion CAD tools are an advantage.

Experience

• 1–5 years of teaching or industry experience in fashion design or garment production.
• Freshers with strong software skills & creative ability may also apply.
