Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and creative fashion design diploma/graduates/part-time learners to join our team as interns. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in a boutique environment, working closely with experienced designers and tailors to create custom garments and learn the art of bespoke fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating custom designs based on client requirements and measurements
• Support the tailoring process from initial consultation to final fitting
• Learn and apply advanced fitting techniques and garment construction methods
• Collaborate with senior designers on pattern development and modifications
• Assist with client consultations and measurements
• Participate in fabric selection and sourcing processes
• Support quality control and final garment inspections
• Maintain detailed records of client preferences and fitting notes
• Assist with styling and presentation of finished pieces
• Need to go to tie up brands (physical shop locations) and work closely with clients at the open end locations

Required Qualifications

• Recent graduate/diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field
• Strong foundation in design principles, pattern making, and garment construction
• Knowledge of tailoring techniques and fitting principles
• Basic understanding of different fabric types and their properties
• Sketching and technical drawing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements

Preferred Skills

• Previous coursework or experience in bespoke tailoring (NA for freshers)
• Understanding of body measurements and fit analysis
• Experience with draping techniques
• Knowledge of historical and contemporary fashion trends
• Basic sewing and construction skills
• Strong communication skills for client interaction

Duration & Commitment

• 6-month internship program
• Full-time commitment preferred (Monday to Saturday weekly, Sunday optional – rotational basis)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹7,000.00 per month
