Job Title: Fashion Designer – Women’s Ethnic Wear Location: CHENNAI Department: Designing Reports To: Head of Design Role Overview We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with strong expertise in women’s ethnic wear. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of silhouettes, fabrics, market trends, and consumer preferences. They should be able to translate design concepts into commercially viable collections, keeping in mind brand positioning and best-selling e-commerce styles. Key Responsibilities Research and forecast trends in women’s ethnic wear, including colors, prints, silhouettes, and fabrics. Develop innovative yet market-friendly designs that align with brand identity and customer demand. Create detailed sketches, mood boards, CADs, and technical packs for sampling and production. Work closely with the sourcing and merchandising teams to select fabrics, trims, embroideries, and surface techniques. Analyze competitors, leading brands, and best-selling styles on e-commerce platforms to design commercially successful collections. Oversee sample development, fittings, and ensure final garments meet quality and design standards. Maintain strong attention to detail in embroidery, finishing, and styling elements. Collaborate with marketing/e-commerce teams to align designs with consumer insights and sales trends. Stay updated on evolving consumer preferences and recommend new design directions. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of ethnic wear silhouettes, and garment construction.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
