Job Summary

The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and stylish luxury pret collections that align with the brand identity of Mahum Asad. The role involves research, conceptualization, sketching, material selection, and close collaboration with the production and embellishment teams to bring creative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and colors to develop unique and market-competitive designs.
• Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for new collections.
• Select fabrics, embellishments, colors, and trims suitable for luxury pret outfits.
• Collaborate with pattern masters, production managers, and embroidery/adda teams to ensure designs are executed to perfection.
• Develop seasonal collections in alignment with the brand’s creative vision and market demands.
• Ensure quality, fit, and finishing of samples before final approval.
• Work with the merchandising and sales teams to design collections that meet client expectations and sales targets.
• Manage multiple projects within deadlines while maintaining design originality.
• Stay updated on international fashion trends and luxury pret market movements.
• Present design concepts to management for approval and collection planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in fashion design, preferably in luxury pret.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, embroidery, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar).
• Creative vision with attention to detail and trend forecasting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
