Key Responsibilities

• Trend Research & Forecasting: Analyze fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and market demands to create seasonal collections.
• Design Development: Sketch new designs by hand or using software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD).
• Fabric & Material Selection: Choose suitable fabrics, trims, and embellishments based on design and cost considerations.
• Sampling & Prototyping: Work with pattern makers and tailors to create sample garments, ensuring fit and quality.
• Collection Planning: Develop cohesive collections for seasonal launches, fashion shows, or retail production.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with merchandisers, production teams, and marketing to meet timelines and budgets.
• Quality Control: Oversee garment fitting, finishing, and production to maintain brand standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong creativity and a keen eye for color, texture, and detail.
• Proficiency in design software and garment construction techniques.
• Knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to balance creativity with market and cost considerations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
