Fashion Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative apparel collections. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of style, trend awareness, and the ability to transform ideas into market-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes
• Create original design concepts, sketches, and mood boards
• Develop collections aligned with brand identity and target market
• Select fabrics, trims, colors, and accessories
• Prepare technical drawings and design specifications
• Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams
• Oversee sampling, fittings, and design modifications
• Ensure quality, fit, and finish of final garments
• Meet project timelines and seasonal deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW)
• Strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and fit
• Excellent creativity, sketching, and visualization skills
• Knowledge of fashion trends and market demands
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and time-management skills

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

• Experience in luxury, ethnic, or ready-to-wear segments
• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices
• Exposure to fashion shows, exhibitions, or retail brands
