- Research and analyze current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and consumer preferences.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal collections aligned with brand strategy.
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and suppliers to manage sourcing, sampling, and production timelines.
- Create and maintain product line sheets, costing sheets, and technical specifications.
- Manage inventory planning, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal availability.
- Oversee fabric selection, trims sourcing, and quality approvals before bulk production.
- Track production progress, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in photo shoots, styling, and visual merchandising for campaigns or lookbooks.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports to identify top-selling products and future opportunities.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional events, exhibitions, and product launches.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and retail partners for smooth merchandising operations.
- Support e-commerce listings — including product descriptions, images, and category placement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design / Fashion Merchandising / Textile Management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and fashion forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Adobe Illustrator, or fashion ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and visual presentation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple collections simultaneously.
