Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers to develop mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Assist in creating detailed CAD (Computer-Aided Design) patterns and garment prototypes that align with seasonal themes and brand standards.
• Support the product lifecycle management process by tracking samples, materials, and production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to fashion styling efforts by selecting fabrics, colors, and accessories that enhance overall collection aesthetics.
• Prepare presentation boards and graphic designs to communicate concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in garment construction activities, including sewing, fitting sessions, and fabric manipulation, utilizing sewing machines as needed.
• Apply knowledge of color theory and fashion retail trends to assist in merchandising displays that captivate customers.
• Conduct research on current fashion trends, theater costume techniques, and innovative textile applications to inspire new designs.
• Support the team during fittings, style shoots, or runway shows by providing creative input and logistical assistance.
• Maintain organized records of sketches, samples, fabric swatches, and technical documents throughout the design process.

Experience

• Proven experience or education in fashion design or related fields is preferred; a strong portfolio showcasing your creative projects is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential for creating visual concepts and technical illustrations.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software for pattern making and technical design is required; experience with garment construction techniques is a plus.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management processes within the fashion industry helps streamline project workflows.
• Skills in fashion styling, graphic design, illustration, sewing, and garment construction will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Knowledge of color theory and textile selection supports innovative design development.
