Fashion Production & Sourcing Manager

Position Summary:

As Production & Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to sourcing fabric, replenishment, and product development of our company's products. Your role will involve working closely with the design team and internal and external suppliers to ensure that products are manufactured to meet the design aesthetic and company quality standards. You will facilitate cost negotiations, manage and create purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery that aligns with our business strategies. Your role will require excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills, as well as prior experience in production coordination and/or sourcing. Supports company objectives in the areas of generating profitable sales revenue and inventory management. Help the company identify and apply solutions to problems that will reduce liability and maximize business opportunities.

Responsibility: Includes, but not limited to-

· Understand supplier capabilities and advantages, as well as opportunities for
improvement. Ensure action plans are created and implemented to further align and
maximize opportunity between D’Iyanu and its’ suppliers.

· Manage production and collection calendar for optimal on-time delivery. Facilitate the
purchase order placement process, insuring delivery dates align with business strategies.

· Research, source and establish suitable suppliers for company’s fabric and production
needs. Utilize company software to analyze and forecast inventories through available
PLM and other reporting systems.

· Negotiate material production costs and ensure target margins are being met.

· Establish critical relationships with key stakeholders that drive speed to market, improve
efficiency and reduces delays, also partnering with internal colleagues to meet set goals.

· Enter and maintain cost and status updates for each style; perform daily tracking of
goods on order, in progress and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to
production calendar.

· Ensure supplier partners receive prompt approvals and feedback for consistent flow of
information.

· Support product execution through internal collaboration with cross-functional partners
in Design, Marketing, Planning, and Operations.

· Manage shipping compliance with suppliers regarding routing guidelines and
procedures for consistency.

· Manage BOL’s, customs & production fee invoice payments.

System Technology

· Experience or familiar with PLM & Production platforms as well as sales and inventory
reporting tools.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel based tools for sales & inventory reporting & analysis.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business fashion, merchandising, supply chain management, or
related field.

· Previous experience in sourcing or production with a minimum of 8 years in a similar
role.

· Demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

· Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.

· Demonstrates leadership & ability to trouble shoot and problem solve.

· Builds productive cross-functional relationships across various departments.

· Strong oral & written communication skills.

· Must be able to occasionally lift 15lbs

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
