F&B Captain

What we require for a Captain at Maples Cafe:

* Act as a front-of-house supervisor.

* ⁠Direct & Supervise the the service Staff.

* Ensuring high-quality guest service, managing staff, and overseeing smooth operations in a restaurant or banquet.

* ⁠Train All new Staff to meet the standard of service and give all trainings as required.

* ⁠Manage and Control the inventory.

* ⁠make requisition and initiate in ordering as stock required.

* Ensure service teams adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

* Take detailed food and beverage orders, relaying them accurately to the kitchen, and ensure accurate billing.

* Ensure the restaurant station is properly stocked, cleaned, and set up prior to service.

* Actively use upselling techniques to increase revenue and enhance guest experience.

* Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, regular order pad, or by memorization.

* Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff

* Serve food and drinks.

* Deliver checks and collect bill payments

* Follow all relevant health department regulations.

* Provide excellent customer service to guests.

* Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)

* Basic math skills

* Attentiveness and patience for customers

Required Qualifications

• Hospitality-related qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hotel food service operations.
• Experience in a supervisory or team leader role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Salary: 1,500

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
