F&B Cost Controller – Fine Dining, Coffee, and Pastry Operations

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced F&B Cost Controller to join our growing hospitality group, overseeing cost management across fine dining restaurants, specialty coffee shops, and pastry production units. If you have a proven track record in cost optimization, financial planning, and operational efficiency in the F&B industry, this role is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on profitability and strategic growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop detailed budgets and cost forecasts for all business units, including labor, raw materials, and overhead. Support annual and quarterly planning with actionable cost insights.
  • Cost Tracking & Analysis: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly expenditures vs. budgets. Perform variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and propose corrective measures.
  • Menu & Recipe Costing: Collaborate with culinary teams to prepare accurate recipe costing sheets, evaluate menu profitability, and support new product launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver clear, data-driven cost reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for savings.
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Partner with Operations, Procurement, and Accounting to ensure accurate expenditure validation, adherence to policies, and compliance with local regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 3–5 years of cost control experience in F&B, hospitality, or catering.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and F&B cost management software (Oracle, SAP, FMC, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

  • CMA, Cost Management Certification, or PMP/PMI certification.
  • Knowledge of POS and inventory systems used in restaurants and cafés.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and integrity-driven with a flair for identifying cost-saving opportunities.
