F&B (Food & Beverage) Supervisor – Job Description

An F&B Supervisor oversees daily food and beverage operations in restaurants, hotels, resorts, catering companies, or hospitality venues. They ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and smooth team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise waiters, bartenders, and service staff during shifts
  • Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest complaints professionally
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Assist with staff scheduling and shift planning
  • Train new employees on service procedures and company policies
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff and management
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and ordering supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Support achieving sales targets and controlling costs

Daily Duties

  • Conduct pre-shift briefings
  • Assign tables or sections to staff
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle billing issues or special customer requests
  • Check cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and inventory control

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (preferred)
  • 2–4 years of experience in food & beverage service
  • Previous supervisory experience is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED60,000.00 - AED120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
