Position Title: F&B Sales Representative - Bakery and Pastry Ingredients

Job Description:
The F&B Sales Representative specializing in bakery and pastry ingredients will be responsible for selling and promoting a variety of bakery and pastry ingredients to clients in the foodservice industry, specifically bakeries, pastry shops, and dessert cafes. This individual will focus on understanding the unique needs of clients in this segment, showcasing the benefits of specialized ingredients, and providing tailored solutions to enhance the quality of baked goods and pastries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Expertise: Have in-depth knowledge of bakery and pastry ingredients, including flours, sugars, chocolate, flavorings, and other essential elements used in baking and pastry-making.
• Client Engagement: Identify and engage with bakery and pastry businesses to understand their ingredient requirements and offer customized solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy focused on promoting specialized ingredients and demonstrating how they can enhance the quality and flavor of baked goods and pastries.
• Relationship Building: Build long-term relationships with clients in the bakery and pastry segment, providing ongoing support, product information, and recommendations.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about trends and innovations in bakery and pastry ingredients, as well as competitor activities, to remain competitive and identify growth opportunities.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets for bakery and pastry ingredients set by the company, by acquiring new clients and increasing sales to existing customers.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the products and services provided.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in sales, specifically in the food and beverage industry with a focus on bakery and pastry ingredients.
• Strong knowledge of bakery and pastry ingredients and their applications in baking and pastry-making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the benefits of specialized ingredients to clients.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the bakery and pastry segment.
• Results-driven and capable of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking tools.
• Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
