Location: Remote / work from home (US only)

Position Summary:


The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative services new and existing customers, provides quotes, processes orders, answers questions and resolves issues in a prompt and courteous manner that delivers on Sanitary Fittings’ value proposition of providing differentiated service and expertise.


Primary Functions:


  • Provides the best possible customer experience by being responsive, courteous and flexible
  • Handles incoming phone calls and online chat communications
  • Services existing accounts, provides quotes, processes orders, handles product returns
  • Nurtures existing customer relationships and establishes trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Addresses customer complaints with appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follows up to ensure resolution
  • Supports business development efforts
  • Champions safety, company culture and ethics
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years’ experience in customer service. In addition, experience contacting customers to close or generate new business is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry and an office setting preferred but not required.
  • Experience working remotely preferred.
  • Distraction free work environment and high speed internet required since this is a remote position.
  • Familiarity with e-Commerce and digital tools is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
    • Extended periods of sitting
    • Using computer, phone and office equipment

Pay Range: $24-$30/hr depending on experience and location
