The Student Graphic Designer supports the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL) by creating accessible, creative, and engaging visual content such as images for print and the web, infographics, social media graphics, event flyers, etc. The position is open to students with or without Work Study funds.

Applicants should:

Be creative

Have photo editing, page layout, and illustration software skills

Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent design software

Be reliable and production-oriented

Have an understanding of or willingness to learn more about creating accessible and inclusive content

Be welcoming and collaborative

The FCTL Student Graphic Designer’s duties will include:

Creating graphics for social media, newsletters, and event promotions

Collaborating with FCTL staff to understand project goals and audience

Maintaining organized file libraries and design assets

Following brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency

Incorporate feedback from staff to refine and improve design work
