Description:
The Social Security Federal Court Level Paralegal works closely with the Supervising Paralegal, assisting in the preparation of Social Security claims at the Federal Court level.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact with assigned clients
- Prepare IFP applications, perform federal debt checks and student loan verification
- Prepare and organize federal court transcripts
- Maintain new client files
- Update and process existing client files
- Maintain CRM database, Litify
- Provide assembly/duplication of supporting documents in case preparation for motions, depositions, and trials
- Any additional duties, as requested
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate's degree and/or paralegal certificate or two years of relevant work experience
- Customer service skills and experience
- Prior legal and/or Social Security experience a plus
- Experience with WORLDOX and Litify a plus
Position Requirements:

- Ability to problem-solve
- Knowledge of a multi-line telephone system, proficiency in computers (including Microsoft Suites), and excellent data entry and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate professionally with peers and clients
- Extremely well organized
- Strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
