SC Trucking Inc. – Zionsville / Whitestown / Lebanon, IN

SC Trucking Inc., a growing FedEx Ground contractor, is hiring a Full-Time Assistant BC to support daily execution and work directly alongside our lead operations team.

This is a leadership-track role, not a standard driving position. You will work closely with experienced leadership and play a key role in keeping the operation running at a high level day to day.

We are looking for someone dependable, team-focused, and ready to take on real responsibility.

Compensation

• $65,000+ based on experience and schedule.

Schedule

• Full-time, 5 or 6 days per week
• Monday through Sunday operation
• Schedule assigned based on business needs

The Role

This is a hands-on position focused on supporting daily execution and driver performance.

You will be expected to step in, assist drivers, solve problems, and help ensure routes are completed at a high level. Some days that means covering a route. Other days it means supporting multiple drivers, handling pickups, or addressing operational needs as they come up.

You will work closely with our GM and gain exposure to all aspects of running a FedEx operation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily dispatch and route execution
• Cover routes as needed due to call-offs or volume changes
• Assist drivers on heavy or behind routes
• Handle pickups, including time-sensitive stops
• Maintain safety, compliance, and performance standards
• Communicate clearly with drivers and leadership
• Lead by example through work ethic and accountability

Requirements

21 years or older Valid driver's license Clean driving record for the last 3 years Must pass background check, DOT physical, and drug screen Able to lift 70 pounds+ Step van or box truck experience required FedEx Ground experience strongly preferred For-Hire Endorsement required prior to start
