FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated delivery driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting packages efficiently and safely to various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, and will be comfortable handling heavy lifting. Your commitment to timely deliveries and excellent customer service will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. MUST BE 21

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely arrival at each destination.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.
• Assist with moving items as needed during deliveries or warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with local roads is a plus.
• Experience operating delivery vehicles such as vans or box trucks is required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to schedules.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
