FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver packages along designated routes
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with recipients during deliveries
• Follow all route instructions and delivery protocols to maintain accuracy and timeliness
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, sometimes requiring manual effort or use of appropriate equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and route records throughout each shift

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Clean background
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a DOT medical examiners certification
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and safety regulations applicable to commercial driving
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $250.00 per day
