FedEx Logistics Manager

WE ARE HIRING A FLOOR MANAGER FOR A NEW TERRITORY TODAY!

We are looking for a highly motivated and strong leader to manage our operation in the Fort Mill SC terminal. This person will develop and lead a team of delivery drivers according to the performance and safety metrics of FedEx Ground.

MUST meet the following Qualifications:

* Minimum of 1 year of logistics managerial experience

* Clean drivers license NO DUI’s or NO Tickets (CDL not required)

* Clean background check

* 21 years or older

* Consent to DOT physical and drug screening

* Ability to handle Fast-paced, Physically demanding workload (Pkgs can weigh up to 150 lbs)

* Strong work ethic

What you can expect to be doing:

As a Floor Manager/Driver, you will:

* Control morning dispatch and oversee the loading of all vehicles

* Provide training and motivation to new and existing drivers

* Manage driver performance to ensure customer service goals are met and holding drivers accountable for executing their duties and responsibilities

* Execute profit and growth goals

* Develop and provide leadership to assistant manager(s)

* Safely operate routes due to driver vacation, illness, injury or termination – you will be required to learn all routes run out of the Fort Mill SC terminal location.  

* Must be highly organized and motivated

Requirements:

* Experience with FedEx

* Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

* Have a minimum of 1 Year of commercial driving experience within last three years.

* Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment

* Pass a DOT physical

* Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck

* Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check

* Have reliable transportation to and from work

* Be on time and ready to work each work day

* Be able to climb stairs

* Be able to work in all types of weather

* Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

* POSITION REQUIRES A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
