Halo Transit Inc. Independent contractor for FedEx Ground is now hiring CDL Class A Team Truck Drivers. Full time positions available. Undedicated runs dispatched from the Cypress, TX terminal.

Teams will run 5000 miles per week, on average.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable professional team truck drivers with a strong safety record. Schedule flexibility required. Must have weekend availability. See complete qualifications listed below:

Qualifications (Must Have):

- Must possess a current class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple endorsement.

- Experience hooking up and hauling doubles highly preferred.

- Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.

- 21 years of age or older

- Must possess 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or obtained a certificate of successful completion from a qualified line haul driving school

- Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards

- Background Check Required

- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations

- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

- Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more.

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck

- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training

- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member

Responsibilities:

- Complete run assignment in a safe and timely manner

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

- Maintain HOS documentation

- Fuel truck as needed

- Comply with all FedEx safety policies and procedures

- Communicate with the FedEx linehaul office in order to secure runs and transportation management system accuracy

- Maintain truck cleanliness

- Other responsibilities may be added as needed
