Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Feed Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment to ensure seamless flow of feed products.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a motivated team focused on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
- Oversee transportation planning and freight management, coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) partners to optimize delivery schedules.
- Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste..
- Teach customers the importance of the products and what is used for the different seasons and animals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to forklift operation, materials handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and overall warehouse safety protocols.
Experience
- Feed knowledge is a huge plus. We would like to train the right individual to help educate our customers.
- Strong background in warehouse management
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
- Knowledge of forklift and skid steer operations.
- Ability to help with ordering and ensuring we don't run out of product.
- Supervisory experience overseeing teams involved in procurement, dispatching, order fulfillment, fleet management, and materials handling.
- Overall good work ethic. If we need extra help in other areas, the willingness to help.
- Little but of tires hop experience is a plus. There will be times we need a hand fixing a tire or helping with an oilchange.
Pay: From $38,500.00 per year
