10 hour shift with one hour break

$180-$240 per day depending on experienc

The house is in Orange. Can be live in or live out I have an extra bedroom. Caregiver position so all meal prep, medication, cleaning, care of the entire house there are always two caregivers, cleaning the house, laundry Etc the house is pretty easy the residents are mostly bedridden which sounds like it would be more work but according to the caregivers it's easier

Must have live scan skill set profession references , and résumé

This vital role involves supporting the individual with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration regularly to ensure health stability.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Support <PERSON> with mobility needs using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assistive devices; ensure safe transfer techniques are followed.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Engage <PERSON> in social activities and cognitive exercises to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning personal spaces and common areas.
• Document observations related to behavior management, health status, and care activities for ongoing assessment.
• Drive <PERSON> to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safety during transportation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and support teams to deliver comprehensive care aligned with individual needs.

Experience

• Prior experience in senior care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with ADLs and managing residents’ personal care needs.
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care strategies, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration protocols, and long-term care procedures.
• Experience operating EMR systems for accurate documentation of care activities.
• Group home experience or working within retirement or personal care homes is beneficial.
• Ability to handle behavior management techniques effectively in challenging situations while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
