Female Caregiver (PCA/CFSS/IHS) – High Hours Available

Duties

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Support behavioral health needs through positive behavior management techniques and behavioral interventions
• Facilitate communication using skills such as American Sign Language or other communication methods tailored to each individual
• Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately
• Collect and record data related to client progress, behaviors, and service delivery for ongoing care planning
• Provide transportation and driving support to appointments, community outings, or activities as needed
• Support children and adults with disabilities in educational or social settings, including childcare when appropriate
• Collaborate with families, social workers, and other professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral health challenges is highly preferred
• Knowledge of special education principles and behavior management strategies is advantageous
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language or alternative communication methods
• Experience in home and community care settings demonstrating caregiving expertise
• Ability to assist with ADLs safely and effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for clients
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation responsibilities
• Familiarity with data collection, medication administration, and documentation procedures
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills
