Duties of a DPE Teacher in CBSE School

Conduct regular DPE periods for all classes as per CBSE guidelines.

• Teach physical fitness, team games, athletics, and yoga.
• Ensure all students participate in physical activities as per their capacity Plan and organize annual sports day, inter-house, and inter-school competitions.
• Submit reports to the Principal/School Head regularly.
• Promote discipline, team spirit, and sportsmanship among students.
• Ensure proper dress code (sports uniform) during PE periods and matches.
• Coordinate with class teachers and housemasters for student participation.
• Support in school functions, morning assembly, and extracurricular events.
• Assist in developing life skills through games and outdoor activities.
