Female Florist

Summary

We are looking for female florist, energetic, unconventional, and passionate florists who view floral design as an art. Our florists are pioneers that create innovative arrangements and installations using extraordinary flowers and natural materials. Florists should have a deep understanding of diverse seasonal flowers and plants. Most importantly, our florists are always eager to learn and grow and become the best for themselves and for the company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flowers, foliage, and plants through trimming, watering, conditioning, and cleaning.
• Warmly greet customers, listen to their requests and advise them accordingly while keeping their budget and flower availability in mind.
• Masterfully create a variety of floral arrangements including hand-tied bouquets, foam/wire arrangements, vase arrangements, and hanging installations.
• Select and order flowers, foliage, and plants directly from growers or through wholesalers in coordination with Creative Director.
• Restock inventory with floral consumables such as chicken wire, floral foam, glue, tape, and others.
• Actively educate the customer on how to best care for their flowers and register customer information in the database.
• Have a deep understanding of all of the different vases and items for sale in the shop, including the artist and materials.
• Update floral and item inventory and regularly restock packaging and floral materials in the shop from the storage unit.
• Coordinate with receptionist for online customer orders and with the driver and store manager for deliveries.
• Provide gift wrapping service to customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the shop and storage unit.
• Follow the instructions of the store manager.
• Stay up to date on design trends, floral techniques, and gift-wrapping styles.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in floral design (5 years preferred)
• Certification in floral design (preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• English (fluent)
• Age: 25 - 45

• Excellent customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
