JOB SUMMARY
The Female Home Care Nurse is responsible for providing compassionate, professional, and comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes. This includes delivering medical support, personal care, emotional support, and health education to patients and their families while ensuring a safe and therapeutic home environment in compliance with Qatar’s healthcare regulations and company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Clinical Nursing Care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical progress.
Provide wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as needed.
Assist with mobility, exercises, and physiotherapy under guidance.
Operate and maintain medical equipment (e.g., glucometer, BP apparatus, oxygen concentrator).
2. Personal Care & Hygiene
Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, and toileting.
Support with dressing and undressing.
Help with feeding and nutritional intake as per dietary plans.
Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and comfort at all times.
3. Health Monitoring & Reporting
Document all care provided accurately and timely.
Report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse/doctor immediately.
Maintain confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare laws.
Communicate effectively with family members regarding care updates.
4. Emotional & Psychological Support
Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
Engage patients in appropriate activities to promote mental well-being.
Support family members with caregiving guidance and education.
5. Safety & Infection Control
Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic home environment.
Follow strict infection prevention protocols.
Educate patient and family on home safety and fall prevention.
Adhere to COVID-19 and other infectious disease guidelines as required.
6. Medication Management
Ensure timely and accurate administration of medicines.
Monitor for side effects and drug interactions.
Maintain medication inventory and records.
7. Coordination & Communication
Liaise with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in case conferences and care planning meetings.
Escort patients to medical appointments if required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Valid nursing license from home country.
QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) license or eligibility to obtain.
Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience.
Previous home care, geriatric, pediatric, or palliative care experience is a strong advantage.
Experience in Qatar or GCC healthcare setting preferred.
Specialized training in elderly care, diabetes management, or wound care.

Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Cultural sensitivity and respect for privacy
Physical stamina and emotional resilience
Basic computer skills for documentation
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Valid passport and visa
Nursing diploma and license copies
QCHP license/eligibility letter
Good conduct certificate
Health certificate (fit to work)
COVID-19 vaccination certificate (as per Qatar policy)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Based at patient’s home; may require live-in arrangement.
Flexible shifts (day/night/weekends) as per patient needs.
May involve traveling between patient homes if part-time.
Exposure to various health conditions and emotional situations.
Must adhere to modest dress code and cultural norms in Qatar.

Adherence to care plans and medical instructions
Accuracy and timeliness of documentation
Reduction in patient hospital readmissions
Compliance with safety and infection control protocols
