Female Home nurse required in Mylapore

Key Duties of the Home Nurse

• Medication management:
• Follow a printed medicine chart with timing and doses.
• Keep a 7-day pill organizer filled each Sunday under your or the nurse’s supervision.
• Maintain a daily log sheet (time given, skipped dose, sugar level, BP).
• Daily inspection for redness or wounds.
• Keep foot clean and moisturized.
• Immediate reporting of any new discoloration or swelling.
• Monitoring:
• Blood sugar (fasting & postprandial) at least 3× per week.
• BP daily.
• Record mood, appetite, and sleep pattern (for psychiatrist review).

Mobility & diet:

• Assist in walking with support; ensure safe footwear.
• Serve balanced diabetic meals; avoid sweets or refined carbs.
• Skills & Qualities to Look For
• Experience: Minimum 4–8 years caring for diabetic or elderly patient

Language: Comfortable in Tamil and basic English.

Training:

• Knows basic first aid, insulin injection, and glucose monitoring.
• Can recognize hypoglycemia symptoms.
• Understands medication schedules (morning/evening).

Required Documentation: Should have a valid ID, background verification from agency.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
