Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Female) with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your QA career in a supportive, fast-paced, and growth-driven environment.

You will collaborate closely with developers and business teams to ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual tests to identify software defects.
• Support in running automated tests under supervision.
• Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
• Document, track, and retest software defects until resolved.
• Perform basic regression testing.
• Learn and contribute to QA best practices and testing methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and discussions to provide a QA perspective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 6 months – 1 year of experience in software quality assurance and testing (internship/fresh grads with strong skills may also apply).
• Basic understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or SQL is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience or exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus.
