Female - Landscape Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Female Landscape Maintenance Engineer to lead the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of horticultural practices, irrigation systems, and landscape management principles. This role involves supervising field crews, ensuring optimal plant health, and upholding aesthetic and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities (mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing).
• Diagnose plant diseases, pests, nutrient deficiencies, and soil issues.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions (treatment, replacement, soil amendments).
• Ensure sustainable landscape practices such as water conservation and efficient irrigation.
• Manage landscape technicians, gardeners, and irrigation staff.
• Provide training on safe work practices and horticultural techniques.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and facility managers.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and material requirements.
• Maintain records of work completed, plant replacements, and irrigation usage.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper use of equipment.
• Inspect sites regularly to ensure plant health, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in landscape maintenance, facilities management, or site supervision.
• Experience managing maintenance crews is an advantage.
• Irrigation certification (e.g., Certified Irrigation Auditor)
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Physical ability to conduct on-site inspections.
• Strong knowledge of plants, soils, irrigation systems, fertilizers, and pest control.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance standards (e.g., pruning, mowing, trimming, turf care).
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, drawings, and irrigation layouts.
• FEMALE candidates only with a valid UAE Driving License.
