Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate the daily logistics operations, ensuring smooth movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses, and supermarket branches while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules and ensure timely dispatch of goods to branches.
- Communicate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments regarding stock movement.
- Prepare and maintain logistics documents such as delivery notes, invoices, and transfer records.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Update and maintain stock transfer and delivery records in the system.
- Handle delivery discrepancies, shortages, and return processes.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams in managing inventory and order accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures and safety standards.
- Prepare reports on logistics activities and delivery performance.
- Coordinate with drivers and storekeepers for smooth operations.
